They seem to exist mainly to be eaten by pumas. Our guide had heard that pumas got 90% of\u00a0 guanacos; he found that hard to believe, but suspected that pumas got half of them.<\/p>\n<p>Sal, a member of our group and a serious photographer (note the camera), is keeping a resepectful distance from the guanaco.
