{"id":494,"date":"2011-09-24T15:11:03","date_gmt":"2011-09-24T21:11:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.podles.org\/dialogue\/?p=494"},"modified":"2011-09-24T15:11:03","modified_gmt":"2011-09-24T21:11:03","slug":"why-i-love-florida-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.podles.org\/dialogue\/why-i-love-florida-2-494.htm","title":{"rendered":"Why I Love Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>My local newspaper, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naplesnews.com\/news\/2011\/sep\/24\/burglary-buff-naked-woman-found-garage-stolen-item\/\">The Naples Daily News<\/a>, reports<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span>A woman was arrested on burglary charges after being found standing in a person\u2019s garage naked with items loaded in the back of a truck, Collier County sheriff&#8217;s deputies say.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Amber Marie Welsh, 32, of the 1700 block of Sunshine Boulevard, Golden Gate, was arrested Thursday by deputies in the 3600 block of White Boulevard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>When deputies arrived, they said they found Welsh standing naked in the victim\u2019s garage next to a dark gray F-150 pickup truck that was backing inside and the bed of the truck was full of items.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to reports, the victim was present at the time of the investigation and stated that the items, totaling $1,500, in the bed of the truck belonged to them and did not give permission for the items to be removed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Welsh told deputies she was hired by the home\u2019s owner to clean and remove all of the property from the house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The reports did not explain why Welsh was naked inside the garage nor did it describe the items that were stolen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Welsh faces charges of burglary and grand theft.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And we will never learn the explanation for the alleged thief&#8217;s state of undress, and\u00a0whether\u00a0she\u00a0planned\u00a0to make her getaway in\u00a0that\u00a0state. Not that anyone would have noticed.<\/p>\n<p>One day I was going for my morning walk on\u00a0the\u00a0deserted beach when a\u00a0young\u00a0man (and not even a\u00a0German) asked me if anyone\u00a0would\u00a0mind his skinny-dipping in\u00a0the\u00a0Gulf.
