This one is from the Frederick <em>News<\/em> of June 1, 1895.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.podles.org\/dialogue\/wp-content\/uploads\/snake-child.png\" rel=\"prettyPhoto[6191]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6192\" src=\"http:\/\/www.podles.org\/dialogue\/wp-content\/uploads\/snake-child.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"376\" height=\"850\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.podles.org\/dialogue\/wp-content\/uploads\/snake-child.png 376w, https:\/\/www.podles.org\/dialogue\/wp-content\/uploads\/snake-child-133x300.png 133w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 376px) 100vw, 376px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A comment diagnosed this condition:<\/p>\n<p>Ichthyosis vulgaris is an inherited skin condition that occurs when your skin doesn\u2019t shed its dead skin cells. This causes dry, dead skin cells to accumulate in patches on the surface of your skin. It\u2019s also known as \u201cfish scale disease\u201d because the dead skin accumulates in a similar pattern to a fish\u2019s scales.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of cases are mild and confined to specific areas of the body.
